RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Program Starts October 4, 2018

This is a process for adults who are considering the possibility of becoming Roman Catholic. This includes the unbaptized, baptized Christians who seek full communion and Catholics who have not received the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation.

RCIA is a process. It is a community event, a ministry of witness and hospitality, ongoing and multidimensional. This process restores the baptismal focus of Lent. It reinstates the Easter Vigil as the honored time for initiation. It is a step by step journey punctuated by corresponding rituals.

Classes occur every Thursday at 6:15pm-8:00pm from October to Pentecost Sunday. Contact the Faith Formation Office at 952-492-4573 or [email protected] for RCIA information.

Willing to Provide a Meal or Dessert for Our Candidates?
We’d like to continue to provide a meal for our candidates during class to welcome them into the community. It’s amazing the power food has in making people feel welcome, connected and open. With the invitation to make a meal you are also invited to eat with us and meet the candidates, but this isn’t required. If a meal is too much, would you consider providing just a dessert? We will set-up and clean-up.
