Saint Michael’s Lent is a devotion started by Saint Francis of Assisi to honor our Blessed Mother and Saint Michael. It Begins on August 15 (the Feast of the Assumption) and runs 40 days to September 29 (the Feast of the Archangels). Join others in our parish by participating in Saint Michael’s Lent. You can do this by offering all your prayer, fasting, and service for the strengthening of our families and school.
At the end of every Mass, before the recessional hymn, throughout Saint Michael’s Lent, we will pray the prayer to Saint Michael. Fr. Neil will also offer extended times for reconciliation throughout the second lent. Added and extended times are: Tuesday 5:30 – 6:00 pm; Wednesday-Thursday-Friday 8:45-915 am; Saturday 4:00-4:40 pm; Sunday 9:00-9:30 am. Other opportunities for service in the Church will be made known. Please take advantage of this time to place a sacrifice to God on His altar, and to take up something new.
May God Bless us, Mary grace us, and Saint Michael protect us!
